Hillside self catering is in the heart of the beautiful Wiltshire countryside in a village called Odstock, around 2.5 miles south of Salisbury.

This accommodation is an ideal base to visit the sites of Salisbury, which include the beautiful cathedral and the historic market square, the world famous Stonehenge, which is only 20 minute drive away, and the New Forest, with its excellent walking and cycling opportunities. Paulton’s Park with the amazing Peppa Pig World is a 30 minutes drive away

The accommodation comprises of a Scandinavian cabin and three rooms which are separate from the main house. The accommodation overlooks a private garden which can be used by the  guests during their stay. It is ideal for couples, families and business guests.

Prices start from £40 for a single room and £55 for a double room.

Prices from £45 for Single, £55 for Double / Twin. Prices are per room, not per person. Discounts are available for longer stays.

About Salisbury

Stonehenge    Salisbury Cathedral

Salisbury is a medieval city located in South Wiltshire near Salisbury Plain. It is the meeting point of five rivers: the Naddar, Ebble, Wylye, Bourne and Avon.

One of the main attractions is the magnificent Salisbury Cathedral boasting the tallest church spire in the UK. There are regular tours around the Cathedral

Salisbury has great shopping facilities set amongst its historic streets and alleyways as well as a regular street market.

For those interested in the arts, there are plenty of arts and cultural venues with events through the year from drama and dance to lectures, arts and children’s activities. Not to be missed is the yearly Salisbury International arts festival.

There is also a bustling night life with plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants and a couple of night clubs.

Salisbury is a great base for visiting the world famous Stonehenge which is only a 20 minute drive away

About Odstock

Yew Tree Inn   Walks and cycle rides through the downs

Odstock is a historic village in the heart of Wiltshire. The village pub, The Yew Tree Inn is 18th Century,. The village Church dates back to 1297. There are beautiful walks and cycle rides through the downs and plenty of earth works, flowers, forests and water meadows to fall in love with. Odstock is on the intersection of the scenic Avon Valley walking path and the wonderful Ebble valley.

Directions

If arriving from Salisbury simply follow the signs to Salisbury District Hospital. When you arrive at the hospital follow the road on down the hill around 1 mile to Odstock. Hillside Self catering is the second house on the right past the Yew Tree Inn.

There is parking for cars available and secure storage for cycles in the garage.
